DORIS MILLER Doris Gene Miller, age 70, of Waco, died Sunday, March 10, 2002 at her residence. Services will be 10:00AM, Tuesday, March 12 at First United Methodist Church with Rev. Stephen Ramsdell and Rev. Robert Morgan officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00PM Monday, March 11 in the Garden Room of Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey, 6101 Bosque Blvd. Mrs. Miller was born March 29, 1931 in Georgetown, Texas to the late L.C. Gholson and Josephine Case Gholson. She attended Waco High School. She had worked for the Goldstein – Migel Co., the R.E. Cox Co. and WISD. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Waco and active in the Wesleyan Worker Sunday School Class. On October 27, 2001 she celebrated with Darwin, Sr. their 50th wedding anniversary. Survivors include her husband, Darwin Wayne Miller, Sr.; sons, Darwin Wayne Miller, Jr. and wife Suzanne, James Craig Miller and wife Megan; grandchildren Darwin Miller, III and Robyn Rene’ Miller. Pallbearers will be Darwin W. Miller, III, David Kent Miller, Edwin L. Slough, Vince Orsage, H. Dale Curry, Kirk Geno, Doyle Helms, and Bruce Mohan. Honorary pallbearers are Alva Stem, Don H. Janes, Don L. Janes, Sonny Canady, Dr. David Sudbrink, Brad Lepar, Leonard Rejcek, Winston Miller, and Wesleyan Workers Sunday School Class. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church of Waco, Community Cancer or Waco Children’s Theatre. Mom, we all know that only your faith in God could supercede the love you shared with us. You will be truly missed, until we meet again in Heaven. WILKIRSON-HATCH-BAILEY
