DORIS KIRK Doris May Lyons Kirk, 100, of Waco died Saturday, February 09, 2002, in St. Catherine Center. Graveside services will be 3:30pm Monday, February 11 at Oakwood Cemetery with Rev. Art Torpy officiating. WILKIRSON-HATCH-BAILEY, 6101 Bosque Blvd., is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Kirk was born November 21, 1901, in Pontypridd, South Wales to Mr. & Mrs. Hyman Lyons. She came to the United States with her parents in 1903. She graduated from Waco High School in 1917. She married J.D. Kirk on February 9, 1921. She was a member of Austin Avenue Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband. Survivors: step-son, Robert Kirk of Littlefield, Texas; one step grandchild; 2 step great grandchildren; & dear friends Joe & Betty Goodman of Waco.
