DOROTHY ANN EASTON Dorothy Ann Easton, PLS, CLA, 58, of Waco, died after a courageous battle with cancer Sunday February 16, 2003 in a Temple hospital. Services will be 1:30pm Wednesday February 19 at Wilkirson Hatch Bailey Chapel, 6101 Bosque Blvd., burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery, the Rev. Terry Atkins officiating. A visitation for friends and family will be 6:00pm until 8:00pm Tuesday at the funeral home. Dorothy was one of three children born to William J. and Adeline Easton. She lived most of her life in Waco attending Connally Independent School District, McLennan Community College and Baylor University. She was preceded in death by her parents and a twin brother Dennis Easton. Dorothy worked for the last 23 years in the offices of Sheehy, Lovelace & Mayfield Law Firm. She was the first in Waco to receive her PLS Professional Legal Secretaries designation and the second in Waco to receive her CLA Certified Legal Assistant designation. She was active in the Legal Secretaries Association where she was Past President of the State Association and on the local level was Past President and currently serving on the Scholarship Committee. Survivors: Brother: Mike Easton Nephew: Mark Easton And a host of friends and cousins. Pallbearers will be David Dickson, Mark Easton, Pat Zachry, Gary Tooke, David Senter, and Dennis Stapleton. Honorary pallbearers are relatives, friends, associates, Mark and Kathy Burrow, and Sheehy, Lovelace, and Mayfield, PC.
