Dorothy Bloomfield August 29, 1923 - August 25, 2011 Dorothy Bloomfield of Waco passed away Thursday, August 25, 2011 at St. Catherine's Center. Services will be at 9:30 a.m., Monday, August 29, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel with the Rev. Jim Gray officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m., Sunday, August 28, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey. Dorothy was born August 29, 1923 in Rosenthal, Texas, to William and Cornelia Rowton. She was an accountant with Civil Service at James Connally Air Force Base. She was also a member of Woodway First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Sam Jeff Bloomfield and her parents. She is survived by one daughter, Peggy Norcross of Sachse, TX; two grandsons, Ronnie Norcross, of Sachse, and Steve Beasley of Grand Prairie, TX; three great-grandchildren, Kristin Norcross, Caitlyn Norcross and Connor Norcross; and one sister, Adriel Harless.
