Dorothy Jean Eubanks February 1, 1939 - February 6, 2008 Dorothy Jean Eubanks of Lacy Lakeview passed away Wednesday, February 6, 2008, at her residence. Services will be held at 9:30 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 9, at Wilkirson Hatch Bailey Chapel, with Rev. Jeremy LaBorde officiating. Burial will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Colony Cemetery in Emory, TX. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Friday, February 8, at Wilkirson Hatch Bailey. Dorothy was born February 1, 1939, in Alba, TX, to Buck Angus and Clara Bell Shrum. As a stay-at-home mom, with her strong faith in Jesus, she took good care of her children, going to baseball, football, and softball games, and many other school functions. She taught school for a while for the McLennan County Coop and in Robinson schools. She dearly loved her students and was a mentor for them. Some of Dorothy's favorite hobbies were bowling, painting, watching horse races, working in her yard, and spending time with her dogs. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, L.D. and Buck "Dickey" Schrum; and sons, Robert Wayne "Bobby" Jenkins and Derek Eubanks. She is survived by daughter, Shelly Eubanks of Waco; sons, David Jenkins and wife, Cheryl; and Dana and Damon Eubanks; grandchildren, Jeanie Berry, Brandon Berry, Tawna Eubanks, Aimee Gonsalves and husband, Mark, and Brad and Blake Jenkins; great grandchildren, Landyn, Kourtney and Haven; aunts, Hazel Thomas and Bobby Nell Robinson, both of Dallas; cousin, Dillard Bell; and her beloved dogs, Jasmine and Katy.
