Dorothy Lee Campbell October 24, 1928 - August 29, 2012 Dorothy Lee Campbell of Waco passed away Wednesday, August 29, 2012. Graveside services will be 1:30 p.m., Friday, August 31, at Rosemound Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, August 30, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey. Dorothy was born October 24, 1928, in Waco, to Fred and Lola Minnix. She worked at Morris Jewelers and Career Girl. Dorothy was a member and nursery worker at Western Heights Baptist Church in Waco. She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, A.R. "Jack" Campbell; her parents; step-mother, Gurtrude Minnix; sister, Conelia Minnix Dryburgh; and brother, J. D. Minnix. She is survived by her daughters, Jackie Swieczkowski and husband, Alex, of Georgetown, TX, Debora Venenga and husband, Doug, of McGregor, and Bambi Bles of Waco; sons, Bobby Campbell of Waco, and Jack Campbell and wife, Christy, of Axtell, TX; six grandchildren; and 15 great grandchildren.
