Dorothy Marie Tinsley Crumpton September 9, 1919 – May 3, 2006 Dorothy Marie Tinsley Crumpton, passed away in Ft. Worth, Texas, on Wednesday, May 3, 2006. She was 86 years old. Services will be at 11:30 am Saturday, May 6 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 7:30 pm Friday, May 5 in the Garden room of the funeral home. Dorothy was born in Italy, Texas, on September 9, 1919 to Marie and Howard Tinsley. She married Darrell Crumpton on November 28, 1936. They moved to the Waco area in 1943 where they raised their children and enjoyed living and working. He preceded her in death on May 19, 1992. She is survived by her son, Wayne Crumpton and his wife, Ann, of West, TX, and a daughter, Donna Ruth Crumpton Ward and her husband, Darrell of Denton, TX. She has four grandchildren, Darren Ward and wife Amy of Denton, TX, Darla Ward Ogle and husband Kyle of Weatherford, TX, Dana Ward Vick and husband Josh of Denton, TX, and Stephanie Crumpton Davis and husband David of Baytown, TX. She is also survived by seven great grandchildren, Jack, Ben, and Brooks Ward, Turner and Katherine Ogle, Austin and Katie Davis. She has one sister, Ernestine Tinsley Derden of Waxahachie, TX. She was a member of Western Heights Baptist Church and the Mary Martha Sunday School Class. Memorials may be sent to the James L.
