January 28, 1932 — September 15, 2003

ANDERSON, JR., EARL T. Earl T. Anderson, Jr., age 71, of China Spring went to be with the Lord Monday, September 15, 2003 at his residence. Services will be held at 1:30pm Thursday, September 18 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel, 6101 Bosque Blvd. with Rev. Kevin Moore and Brother Bill Packer officiating. Burial will follow at China Spring Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 6-8pm Wednesday, September 17 at the funeral home. Mr. Anderson was born January 28, 1932 in Rule, Texas in Haskell County to Earl T. Anderson, Sr. and Nita Cloree Reed Anderson. He was reared and educated in McGregor and Hillsboro. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict serving three years in Germany. He married Sue Wooten August 20, 1960 in Waco. He was employed at General Tire and Rubber Co. for 31 years and also involved in General Contracting for many years. Mr. Anderson was a member of First Baptist Church in China Spring, Northwest Waco Optimist Club, where he was a past president and was a past president of Sul Ross Senior Dance Club. He coached little league baseball, basketball and football. He was actively involved with his sons in the H.O.T. Kart Club. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Curtis Reed Anderson. Survivors include wife, Sue Anderson of China Spring, sons, Brian Earl Anderson and wife, Andrea of China Spring and Kevin Anderson and wife, Sheila of Fort Worth, granddaughters, Ashli Anderson and Jennifer Anderson, sister, Liddy Anderson Harrell of Houston, mother-in-law and father-in-law, Estelle and Nat Wooten of Waco, brother-in-law, Terry Wooten of Dallas, and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Pallbearers will be Bob Baker, Rick Harper, Tim Sinkule, Dean Pankonien, Danny Knight, and Mike Kuzenka. The family would like to express their sincere appreciation for the many acts of kindness and many prayers. Memorials may be made to Gideon International or charity of choice.
