Earl Walker Lynch July 5, 1924 - March 17, 2014 Earl Walker Lynch, 89 of Waco, Texas passed away Monday, March 17, 2014, at a local hospital. Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, March 21, at Waco Memorial Park. Visitation will be 6:00 8:00 p.m., Thursday, March 20, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Funeral Home. Earl was born July 5, 1924 in Hillsboro, Texas, to Wallace and Emma Bell Lynch. He was known for his love of music, playing several string instruments. He composed music and had produced several CD's. He served his country in the United States Army during WWII and was a recipient of the Purple Heart as well as other awards and accommodations. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Geneva; son, Ernest Earl Lynch; granddaughter, Gwendolyn Rae Berry; two great-grandsons; brothers, Daniel and Henry Lynch; and sister, Betty Cotton. He is survived by his daughters, Donna Berry and husband, Bobby of Waco, Earline Langford and husband, W.B. of Prairie Hill, Mary McMahon and husband, Jay Harshfield of Hubbard; son, Mike Lynch and wife, Sandra of Mart; sisters, Mary Taylor and husband, James of Hewitt, Mae Evelyn Settle of Baytown; brother, Al Lynch and wife, Judy of China Spring; 14 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren. The family would like to thank the Waco VA Hospital and the staff at Providence Hospice for the love and care they gave to Daddy.
