Earl Wayne Boren

Earl Boren, 85, of Woodway, passed away Thursday, September 22, 2022, at Baylor Scott & White Hillcrest Medical Center in Waco.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Burial will take place at the Central Texas State Veterans’ Cemetery in Killeen.

Earl was born October 2, 1936, in Lorena, to Tillie and Jessie Sutton Boren. He attended Lorena and Midway schools. He was a proud veteran who served his country in the US Air Force.

He worked for Million Item Drug Company for many years prior to his retirement. Earl was a loving father, grandfather, and great-granddad.

Earl was preceded in death by his parents; and his brother, Alvis Ray Boren.

He is survived by his daughters, Lori Tuyo, of Waco and Wendy Wright; son, Patrick Boren; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews; and his sister, Evelyn Gaye Sutter and husband, Bob, of Hewitt.
