McGhee, Edmond Edmond W. McGhee, 77, passed away Sunday, August 21, 2005 in Dallas, Texas. Graveside services will be at 9:30AM, Saturday, August 27 at Oakwood Cemetery with Rev. Eric Folkerth officiating. Visitation will be Friday, August 26 from 6:30 to 8:30 PM at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey, 6101 Bosque. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, August 30 at Northaven United Methodist Church in Dallas. Mr. McGhee was born October 8, 1927 to Edmond and Era Corinne Westbrook McGhee in Waco. He married Marian Willis Hughes on October 10, 1954. He was a Music Major earning a Bachelor’s degree in 1949 and a Master’s degree in 1951. He also received a Bachelor of Science degree in 1959. He played the French Horn for the Baylor University Golden Wave Band. He loved all types of music and photography and worked at Texas Instruments as an Electronic Components Engineer until his retirement in 1990. He was preceded in death by his wife Marian on April 16, 2000 and his parents. He is survived by daughter, Laura Elise Pullman and husband, John of Dallas; granddaughter, Dana McGhee White of Ohio; sisters-in-law, Lois Hughes and Sue Margaret Hughes of Waco and cousins, Jack Johnson and Dick Johnson of Dallas. Memorials may be made to the Organ Restoration Fund of Northaven United Methodist Church, 11211 Preston Road, Dallas, Texas 75230.
