Edmundo V. Olvera February 23, 1930 - January 12, 2013 Edmundo V. Olvera, of Waco, passed away Saturday, January 12, 2013, at his residence. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m Tuesday, January 15, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. with Rosary at 7: 30 p.m., Monday, January 14, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel. Edmundo was born February 23, 1930, in Mexico, to Guillermo and Juana Olvera. Edmundo has been a lifelong Roman Catholic and a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Waco. He was preceded in death by his parents; and loving wife Apolonia Paula Olvera; 1 sister and 5 brothers. He is survived by daughters, Maria Rodriguez, and husband, Robert, Martha Olvera and husband, Gerardo, and Ann Ramos and husband Randy; sons, Mark Olvera and wife, Renee, John A. Olvera and wife, Maria, Lupe Olvera and wife, Jo Ann, and John E. Olvera and wife Ana all of Waco; 22 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren; sisters, Ma. de Jesus Hernandez, Ma. Inez Fonseca. Pallbearers are grandchildren, Nicholas Rodriguez, John Anthony Olvera, Randy Jose Ramos, Chris Olvera, Joshua Olvera, Robert Rodriguez, Anthony Olvera, Jerry Olvera, Adam Olvera and Alex Olvera.
