She married Daniel Wiethorn at St. Mark Lutheran Church in Waco on June 2, 1945. In 1946 they moved to Dallas where she continued to work in the banking business until her retirement in 1982. Edna has been a longtime active member of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod. Edna was a happy person at all times and thoroughly enjoyed her home, her work and traveling. Edna was always ready to serve her Lord in any capacity. Daniel and Edna moved back to Waco in 1988, where she continued to serve her Lord as an active member of Trinity Lutheran Church located in Badger Ranch. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Ted Fenske; and sisters Lena Vorderkunz, Theresa Behringer, Anna Schreiber, Agnes Lippe and Ruth Mycock. She is survived by her husband, Daniel Wiethorn, and numerous nieces and nephews. The family wishes to thank Dr. Sudan, members of Providence hospice and the caretakers at Royal Manor for their concern and care of Edna during this trying time. Memorials may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church, 2 Ritchie Rd, Woodway, TX 76712. The family invites you to leave a message or memory in our "Memorial Guestbook" at www.wilkirsonhatchbailey.com.
