Wilma Elaine Kinney December 31, 1937 - November 27, 2014 Elaine Kinney of Waco lost her two year battle with ovarian cancer on Thursday, November 27, 2014. Services will be at 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 2, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel with Rev. Curtis Holland officiating. Visitation will begin at 4:00 p.m., Tuesday, prior to the chapel service. Elaine was born December 31, 1937, in Tipton, Oklahoma, to Jess and Pauline McCarty and lived the early part of her life in Sunray, Texas. She was the ultimate mother, always involved in the lives of their children, attending all their activities. Wherever Bob worked in colleges, Elaine was an active member of women's organizations. In Waco, she was a member and officer of Newcomers and Neighbors, yearly sending birthday greetings to every member. She was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Alan and Karl McCarty; and her step-father, Otto Barton. She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Bob Kinney, Waco; her son, Daryl Kinney of Reno, Nevada and her daughter, Kristin Tullo and husband, Les of Haltom City, Texas; grandson, Wyatt; and her niece, Jessica Cox of Paris, France.
