LOGAN, ELBERTA Elberta Logan, age 83, of Waco died Sunday, February 9, 2003 at a local hospital. Graveside services will be held at 1pm Wednesday, February 12 at Oakwood Cemetery with Rev. Greg Brumit officiating. Visitation with the family will be from 6-8pm Tuesday, February 11at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey, 6101 Bosque Blvd. Mrs. Logan was born March 25, 1919 in Waco to E. E. and Nellie Beach. She was a graduate of Waco High School. She married Bert T. Logan November 25, 1939. She traveled many years with her husband selling infant clothing and merchandise to retail department stores. Mrs. Logan was a longtime member of Kendrick Lane Baptist Church. Survivors include her sister, Geraldine Gummelt and husband, Floyd of Waco, nieces, Mary Margaret Swanson and husband, Swanie, Linda Sue Zgaday and husband, Glenn, and Debra Lynne Soukup and husband, Alan; and several great nieces and nephews.
