Eleanor Frankum Hill April 11, 1923 - March 31, 2008 Eleanor Frankum Hill passed away peacefully at home Monday, March 31, 2008. Graveside services will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, April 3, at Prairie Hill Cemetery with Rev. Boyce Vardiman officiating. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, April 2 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Funeral Home. Eleanor was born April 11, 1923 in Wharton to John and Julia Fojtik. She married Ben Frankum in 1944 and was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She loved her family unconditionally and was a devoted Methodist. She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, husband and father of her children, Ben Frankum. In 1965 she married Joe Hill and is survived by him; her sons, Ben Frankum Sr. and wife, Carolyn of West Columbia; Brian Frankum and wife, Susan of Axtell; and daughter, Wanda Blair and husband, Danny of Bruceville; nine grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be her grandsons. In lieu of flowers family has requested memorials to First United Methodist Church of Coolidge or a charity of your choice.
