WOOD, ELLA Ella Wood, age 94, of Waco died Friday, August 3, 2001 at a local nursing home. Graveside services will be 9:00AM Monday, August 6th at Rodef Sholom Cemetery with Rabbi Mark Stander officiating. Visitation with the family will be 2:00-4:00PM Sunday, August 5th at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey, 6101 Bosque Blvd. Mrs. Wood was born July 5, 1907 in Clifton. She graduated from Clifton High School and Toby’s Business College. She married Alan Wood June 2, 1934 in Waco and worked together with him in their insurance business until their retirement in 1975. She was a member of O.E.S. and Daughters of the Nile. Survivors include: Husband: Alan Wood of Waco Sons: Alan Wood, II and wife, Barbara of Woodway Morris Wood and wife, Rhonda of Robinson Grandchildren: Sharyn, Darrell, Kelley, Allison Wood, Michael and Melissa Guenat Memorials may be made to Temple Rodef Sholom or favorite charity.
