ALBERS, ELNA LOUISE Elna Louise Albers, age 70 of Bellmead died Thursday, April 8, 2004 at a local hospital. Memorial services will be held at 6pm Monday, April 12 at St. Paul Lutheran Church with Rev. Joel Boesche and Rev. Steve Rynerson officiating. Visitation with the family will be from 5-8pm Sunday, April 11 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey. Mrs. Albers was born June 28, 1933 in Port Arthur to James Eugene and Naomi Mae Hebert Brown. She was reared and educated there. She had been a resident of Bellmead for the past 33 years. She married Walter F. Albers August 26, 1955 in Port Arthur. She had faithfully served her Lord and her church all of her life, the last 33 years along with her husband at St. Paul Lutheran. Survivors include husband, Rev. Walter Albers of Bellmead; daughter, Louise A. Reeves and husband, Clyde of Orange; son, Jeffrey L. Albers and wife, Deborah of Val Rico, Florida; grandchildren, Clifton Reeves of College Station, Justin Reeves and wife, Tiffany of College Station, Nathan Reeves of Abilene, Matthew Albers and Adam Albers of Val Rico, Florida; sisters, Wyvon Schroeder and husband, Raymond of Port Neches, Earline Ranka and husband, Charles of Port Arthur, and Wanda Wilson and husband, Lewis of Katy; brother, James N. Brown and wife, Nelda of Port Arthur and numerous nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church.
