Emily was born March 2, 2004, in Weatherford and raised in Bowie and then moved to Valley Mills with her family. She attended North Hills Private School until enrolling in Liberty Christian College. Emily joined the family business where she was involved in the design of custom homes. She enjoyed and excelled in archery, dog training, pottery, exercise, cosmetology and being silly with her brother. Emily was a member of Bible Baptist Church. She especially enjoyed family time, walking around the Ranch with her brother, Dylan, and being pampered by her mother, especially further along in her pregnancy.

Emily was preceded in death by her grandparents, John and Geneva Gardner and James Hickman; and her great-grandmother, Reba Hickman.

She is survived by her infant daughter, Ava Rene Turkett; her parents, Ty and Karen Turkett; brother, Dylan Turkett; sister, Ashley Turner; grandmother, Carol Hickman; aunts and uncles, Cristy and Dewayne Miller, Kim and Craig Beasley, John Gardner and Kathy Corder; special cousin, Laurian Keen and numerous other cousins; great-uncles, AW Hines and Rick Hines; and special friend, Andrew.

Pallbearers will be Ty Turkett, Dylan Turkett, Rick Hines, Craig Beasley, Rusty Richardson, Dewayne Miller, John Gardner, Thomas Gray, Dustin Gray and Aaron Keen.

We will cherish all the wonderful memories that we had with Emily. There’s not a day to pass that we won’t miss our sunshine. Emily was saved and baptized with her brother on May 3, 2015 and with that we will take comfort knowing we will be together again in Heaven for eternity.
