Ernest Harold Richardson

Ernest Harold Richardson, 87, passed away Sunday morning, March 28, 2004, at Ridgecrest Nursing Facility. Services will be 1:30 P.M. Tuesday, March 30, 2004 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel with Dr. Jerry Kirkpatrick officiating. Burial will be at Waco Memorial North. Visitation will be 7:00 to 8:00 P.M. Monday, March 29th at the funeral home.. Mr. Richardson was born June 21, 1916 in Waco, Texas to John and Lola Richardson. He attended Waco schools and served his country in the U. S. Army in the Philippines during World War II. He married Margaret Vera Payne on February 15, 1941. Mr. Richardson was a charter member of Lakewood Christian Church and he was retired from General Tire & Rubber Co. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Lola Richardson, and two sisters, Lucy McGee and Irene Dooley. He is survived by his wife, Margaret; daughter, Suzanne Richardson Keener; grandchildren, Christopher Ryan Keener and Kimberly Michelle Keener; and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Jack Payne, Jr., Larry Storer, Jim Lomax, Jim Tom Spear, Ed Smith, Jack Harbor and Joe Ed Harbor. Memorials may be made to Lakewood Christian Church or the Alzheimer’s Association.
