Ervin Kendall Warren October 10, 1915 – December 10, 2005 Ervin Kendall Warren passed away December 10, 2005 at a local hospital. Private graveside services will be held at 9:30 am, Tuesday, December 13 at Oakwood Cemetery with a memorial service to follow at 12:00 pm at Calvary Baptist Church with Pastor Julie Pennington-Russell and Randy Lofgren officiating. Mr. Warren will be in state at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey. Mr. Warren was born October 10, 1915 in Hewitt. He graduated from Waco High School and attended Baylor University majoring in organ. He was elected organist at Calvary Baptist Church in 1935 and held that position until formal retirement in March, 1991. During that time, he also served for four years in the armed forces during WWII. He was appointed organist for Compton Funeral Home in 1936 and was later made office manager and served in these positions until 1968. He then worked in the Personnel Department of Hillcrest Baptist Hospital for 15 years, retiring in 1984. He was also organist at First Baptist Church of Valley Mills for 12 years retiring in 2004. He married Mary Alice Cooper in 1946 and they have 3 children and 4 grandchildren and one great-grandson. He is survived by his wife, Mary Alice Cooper Warren of Waco; sons, Kendall Cooper Warren and wife, Jaime of Tyler and Robert Edward Warren and wife, Linda of Westcliffe, Co.; daughter, Catherine Ann Warren of Arlington; grandchildren, Dr. Alison Annette Considine and husband, Liam of Hamden, Ct., Mark Kendall Warren and wife, San San of Seattle, Wa., Scott Green and David Green of Highlands Ranch, Co.; great-grandson, Timothy Cooper Considine of Hamden, Ct.
