Essie Voiles December 19, 1917 - December 15, 2006 Essie Voiles of McGregor passed away Friday, December 15, 2006. Services will be at 11:30 am Monday, December 18 at Valley Mills Cemetery with Rev. Carrol Hambrick officiating. Visitation will be from 2 - 4 pm Sunday, December 17, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey. Essie was born December 19, 1917 in Levita of Coryell County to Arthur Knight and Nora Knight. Essie was a member of College Avenue Baptist Church of McGregor, TX. Preceding her in death was her husband, Jim Voiles who died in 1987. She is survived by her daughter, Barbara Emrich of Hewitt; her son, Jimmy Voiles of Waco; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Steve Voiles, Kenny Voiles, Dale Emrich, Wayne Olson, Jerry Davis and Melvin Payne. Memorials may be made to College Avenue Baptist Church, 201 S. Monroe of McGregor and to the McGregor Ambulance, 409 W. 4th Street, McGregor.
