BRAVO, ESTHER HERNANDEZ Esther Hernandez Bravo, age 74, of Waco died Saturday, November 1, 2003 at her residence. Services will be held at 10:30am Wednesday, November 5, 2003 at El Calvario Presbyterian Church with Rev. Susan Finck-Lockhart officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. A prayer service will be held at 7pm Tuesday, November 4 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel. Mrs. Bravo was born May 25, 1929 in Mart to Alex and Anita Rodriquez Hernandez. She married Joe Bravo in 1944 in Waco. She was a homemaker and member of El Calvario Presbyterian Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Sarah Cazares and one brother, Abel Hernandez. She was a devoted wife, mother and loving grandmother. Survivors include husband, Joe Bravo, Sr. of Waco, daughters, Margie Pike and husband, James of Denver, Colorado, Elvira Bravo of Puerto Rico, Minerva Chavez and husband, Abel of Waco, and Teresa Maria Bravo of Waco, sons, Joe Bravo, Jr. and wife, Frances of Waco, Ruben Bravo and wife, Janie of Hallsburg, Robert Bravo and wife, Rose of Bellmead, and Rudy Bravo, Sr. and wife, Delia of Lacy Lakeview, 22 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, sisters, Helen Martinez and Susie Tovar both of Waco, brother, Abraham Hernandez of Waco and numerous nieces, nephews and relatives. Pallbearers will be Johnny Sandoval, Patrick Mayes, Vincent Bravo, Rudy Bravo, Jr., Michael Bravo, Joe Rodriquez, Steve Tovar, and David Martinez.
