Esther Hoffman March 22, 1921 - October 26, 2009 Esther Sarah Frindell Hoffman of Waco passed away Monday, October 26, 2009. Services were held at 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 27, at Agudath Jacob Cemetery with Rabbi Gordon Fuller officiating. Esther was born March 22, 1921, in Rhinelander, Wisconsin, to Hyman and Anne Genecov Frindell. She graduated from Rhinelander High School and attended the University of Wisconsin in Madison. She married Harry Hoffman November 29, 1942, and they were happily married for 57 years. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and granddaughter, Lauren. She is survived by her sons, Craig Hoffman and wife, Lydia, of Austin, and Dr. Gerry Hoffman and wife, Ellen, of Ft. Worth; daughter, Su Su Meyer and husband, Jerry, of Dallas, and Gayle Starnes and husband, Bob, of Waco; grandchildren, Carter Meyer and wife, Pam, of Dallas, and Brent Meyer and wife, Karen, also of Dallas, Emily and Elizabeth Hoffman of Ft. Worth, and Natalie Hoffman of Austin; great grandchildren, Julian, Leo and Sivan Meyer of Dallas; sister, Deana Stupak, of Waco; brother, Sander Frindell and wife, Anita, of Arizona; and sisters-in-law, Frances Hoffman of Waco and Evelyn Hoffman of Dallas.
