March 22, 1938 — March 30, 2005

OCHOA, ESTHER Mrs. Esther Ochoa, 67, of Woodway, returned home to Heaven on Wednesday, March 30, 2005. Services will be held at 11:30 am, Saturday, April 2 at Wilkirson Hatch Bailey Chapel with Albert Fuentes, Jr. and Jim Fitzhugh officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 6-8 pm, Friday, April 1, 2005 at the funeral home. Esther Ochoa was born March 22, 1938 in Waco, Texas. She and her husband Ernest, of 51 years, were married on December 27, 1953 in Sacramento, California. She will be remembered by her family for being a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Others will remember her as the most wonderful friend. She could make anyone smile and laugh just by spending a few minutes with them. She was a very giving person and always treated any friend like a member of our family. She was like a second mother to many of her grandchildren and the world’s greatest mom to her own kids. She has touched many lives and has always been there when we needed her. We will all miss her tremendously and know that we will be reunited again soon. She’ll forever have a special place in our hearts. Those of us staying behind to keep her memory alive are: husband, Ernest Ochoa; father, Clemente Perez; sister, Theresa Patterson; daughters, Debbie and husband Roger Lanier, Cynthia and husband Jim Mayfield, Jackie and husband Joe Torres, Vangie and husband James Sanders, Liz Bernal; sons, Ernest Ochoa, Jr. and wife Lori, Eric Ochoa and wife Lynsey; 20 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren, who cherished her dearly. Pallbearers are Roger Lanier, Jim Mayfield, James Sanders, Rudy Bernal, Jose Torres, Charlie Ochoa, Jr., Johnny Ochoa, Jr., and Brent Ochoa. A special thanks to all of you who have kept her in our prayers these past few years. She and our family greatly appreciate your kindness. May she rest in peace and rejoice in her new life with our Father in Heaven. She will never be forgotten.
