ESTHER V. LANFORD Esther V. Lanford, 91, died Sunday, May 5, 2002 at a local hospital. Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 7, 2002 at Restland Cemetery in Dallas, Texas, with Rev. Jeff Smith and Rev. Bill Austin officiating. Visitation with the family will be 7:00-8:00 p.m. Monday at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Funeral Home, 6101 Bosque Blvd. Ms. Lanford was born on November 6, 1910 in Cooper, Texas to Gaberal Thompson and Lauri Lee Harris Thompson. She graduated from Delta County Schools and worked most of her life as a cosmetologist. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Art R. Lanford in 1979 and her daughter Nancy Lee Peche in 1994. Survivors include granddaughters Cecila Navin of Tampa, FL, and Cynthia Gary of Hollywood, FL; grandson Mark Peche of New Orleans, LA; sisters Mary Jo Richardson of Waco, Varona Robertson of Moore, OK and Thelma Miles of Fort Worth.
