RABORN, ETTA Etta Dell Holzer Raborn, 92, of Waco, passed away Friday, November 28, 2003 at a local hospital. Graveside Services will be 2 p.m., Monday, December 1, 2003 at Oakwood Cemetery with the Rev. Michael O. Patterson officiating. Visitation with the family will be 3-5 p.m. Sunday, November 30, 2003. Arrangements are through Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey, 6101 Bosque Blvd. Mrs. Raborn was born May 31, 1911 in Elm Mott, Texas to the late Samuel F. and Nancy Terry. She was a graduate of Axtell High School. She married Albert “Buddy” Holzer in August 1927, they had a business in Leroy. He preceded her in death August 1956. She later married Newton C. Raborn August 1968, he preceded her in death December 1989. She was a member of Western Heights Baptist Church. Survivors include daughter, Nancy Curry and husband Carl of Waco; stepdaughters, JoAnn Harwell and Martha Neill both of Waco; stepson, Darriel Raborn of Waco; four grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Janet Silatt of Leroy and Mary Kathryn Schneider of San Angelo; brother, Woodrow Terry of Waco and numerous nieces and nephews. Honorary Pallbearers will be Gary Willis, Mike Willis, Jeff Willis, Mike Curry, Mark Terry and Bill Silatt. Memorials may be made to charity of choice.
