HANDLEY, EUGENE Eugene Ross Handley, 81, died Saturday, July 16, 2005 at the Temple Veterans Hospital. Graveside services will be at 11:30 AM Friday, July 22, 2005 at Rosemound Cemetery with Rev. Drew Dabbs officiating. Mr. Handley was born in Breckenridge, Texas on March 15, 1924. He was an only child and grew up in Fort Worth, Texas. In 1943, he enlisted in the Army and his MOS was ground crew for the B17’s during World War II. His rank was E1 when he was discharged in 1946. Mr. Handley was married for a short time and then divorced. His other employment opportunities included being a barber, typist, painter and a clerk for a telephone company. Mr. Handley was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by close friends, Tracy, Missy, Heston and Hollis Adler, Ray Rushing, Joseph Olson and Susan Davis.
