Jean Holley Bullard February 19, 1934 March 29, 2013 Jean Holley Bullard, 79, passed away on Good Friday, March 29, 2013. Services will be 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 2, at Central United Methodist Church, with Reverend Brad Brittain officiating. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m., Monday, April 1, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey. Jean was born February 19, 1934, to Willis Ray and Theresa Holley in Gainesville, Texas. She was born into a big loving family. She was one of nine children. She married Aubrey Bullard September 7, 1952, and they were blessed with four children. She kept children in her home for a number of years. She was affectionately known as Mama Jean by her grandchildren, the many children she had the honor of caring for, neighbors and friends. Mama Jean will be remembered for her kind and gentle spirit. She always kept a bright, beautiful smile on her face and truly enjoyed life. She was always ready with a hug. Jean was an active member of Central United Methodist Church, where she volunteered in many areas, including Meals on Wheels. Jean was preceded in death by her husband, in December, 2003; her parents; and five of her siblings. She is survived by her companion, David Alexander; daughter, Linda and husband, Richard Rezach; son, Mike and wife, Suzanne; son, Rod and wife, Dee Bullard; daughter Debbie and husband, Terry Collier; 9 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. She was also survived by her sister, Ima Jean and husband, Eddie Smith; brother, Dwight and wife, Helen Holley; and sister, Valloice and husband, Dan Livingston. Pallbearers will be Brian Gilchrest, Stuart Holley, Rodney Harris, Tim Collier, Bob Waller, and Davey Alexander. Honorary pallbearer is Kevin Kenney In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Central United Methodist Church, Providence Hospice or the Alzheimer's Association.
