EULA WHITAKER BAXLEY Eula joined family and friends in the presence of our Lord on February 27, 2004. Services will be at 1:30 Tuesday, March 2, 2004 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel, 6101 Bosque Blvd. with Mike Stirman officiating. Burial will follow at Robinson Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 6-8 pm Monday, March 1, at the funeral home. Eula was born December 30, 1910 in Falls County Texas and raised in various Central Texas towns. She was the seventh of ten children born to George and Martha Whitaker. All of which have passed on except for one brother. She met her true love, Percy Francis Baxley and they were married November 15, 1925. They were together forty three years and were blessed with three daughters. Eula was an outgoing, humorous and intelligent woman. She worked alongside Percy who was an owner/operator of the Youngblood’s Chicken restaurant in Waco and they moved to open a location in Ft. Worth. She returned to Waco about sixteen years ago. She was preceded in death by her husband, Percy, daughters, Mary Charles Francis and Barbara Ann Snyder; son-in-law, Jack D. Harp Sr. and great-grandson Daniel Goldsmith. Survivors include daughter, Frances Harp of Waco; brother, Carl Whitaker of Clifton; son-in-laws, Roy Francis of Burleson and J.C. Snyder of Irving; grandchildren, Vicki deGraffenried, Mark Nevoit, Lynda Harp Grochoske, Connye Harp Goldsmith, Jack D. Harp Jr., Joe Nevoit Sr., Kathye Harp Smith, Russell Snyder, Jason Nevoit, Andy Snyder, and Judy Snyder. Eula also left behind eight great-grandchildren and six great great-grandchildren, numerous nephews and nieces and extended family. Pallbearers will be Mark Nevoit, Don Harp, Joe Nevoit, Russell Snyder, Jason Nevoit and Andy Snyder. Honorary pallbearers will be D.R. Goldsmith Sr., Jerry Smith, J.C.
