Evelyn Annelle Kaiser March 2, 1918 – February 17, 2006 Evelyn Annelle Kaiser passed away Friday, February 17, 2006 at Hillcrest Hospital. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, February 21, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Bosque Chapel with Dr. John Wood and Rev. David Story officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m.Monday, February 20, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Garden Room. Evelyn was the second of four children born to James and Emily Hill on March 2, 1918 in Wilburton, OK and lived most of her life in Waco. She married Grant Wilson in 1934 and from that union was born a son Clark Wilson and daughter Carole Anne Wilson. She married James Herby Kaiser in 1948 and together they loved and nurtured the family until Herby’s death in 1990. She began Federal Civil Service employment in 1942 at Waco Army Air Field, Blackland Army Air Field, Camp Fannin, and James Connally Air Force Base, retiring from Veterans Administration Medical Center in 1978. Annelle was a member of First Baptist Church of Waco since childhood, serving and teaching in children’s and adult area for 21 years, and was a director and president of the Baptist Women and WMU. She was also past Matron of Waco Chapter No. 7,.Order of the Easter Star and Waco Assembly No. 18, Order of the Rainbow for Girls. Also preceding her in death were her parents, siblings, her infant son Clark Wilson and grand daughter Cathy Murphy McLearen. She is survived by her daughter Carole Anne Murphy and husband Jerry, granddaughters Caren Spradling and husband Mike and Cristy Murphy. Also surviving are great grandchildren Matt McDonald and wife Erin, Brandon Murphy and Nicole Bundrant and great great granddaughters Madison and Bailey McDonald, brother-in-law Charles Tarver and several nieces and nephews.
