Evelyn R. Posey

POSEY, EVELYN Evelyn R. Posey, age 95, of Waco died Sunday, October 21, 2001at a local hospital. Graveside services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, October 24th at Riesel Cemetery with Dr. Jack Myers officiating. Visitation with the family will be 7:00-9:00PM Tuesday, October 23rd at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey, 1124 Washington Ave. Mrs. Posey was born September 3, 1906 in Tecumseh, OK. She attended schools in Battle. She married Jess W. Posey March 8, 1924. They lived at 1915 Park in Waco for over 50 years. He preceded her in death March 28, 1970. Mrs. Posey was a charter member of Lakewood Christian Church. Survivors include her sister-in-law, Faye Riggs of Waco, nieces, Elaine McIlravy and Stella Thomas both of Waco, nephews, James H. Riggs, Jr. of Waco and Travis Allen Riggs of Oklahoma and several great nieces and great nephews. WILKIRSON-HATCH-BAILEY
