GUNTER, FAYE YOUNG BEA Faye Young Bea Gunter, age 81, of Lacy Lakeview died Tuesday, April 1, 2003 at her residence. Graveside services will be held at 10am Friday, April 4 at Oakwood Cemetery with Chaplain Richard Rust officiating. Visitation with the family will be from 6-8pm Thursday, April 3 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey, 1124 Washington Ave. Mrs. Gunter was born May 21, 1921 in Milam County near Thorndale, where she was reared and educated. She married C. E. Gunter September 6, 1945. He preceded her in death April 11, 1980. She was a homemaker and enjoyed life and loved her plants and gardening, especially her bluebonnets. She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Fern Jones and Kelleta Garrett and one brother, Gerald David Young. Survivors include daughters, Sandra Krumnow of Chalk Bluff, Shirley Owens and husband, Tom of Marion, Texas, Judy Baxter of Houston, and Janie Tarpley and husband, Garry of Elizabeth, Colorado; step daughter, Doris Vasta and husband, Vince of Temple; eight grandchildren; six great grandchildren; sisters, Floye Bruce and husband, Grady of Waco, Barbara Ramon and husband, Lupe of McGregor, and Virginia De Francisco and husband, Pete of Russellville, Arkansas; brothers, Ray Young of Waco and Gordon Young and wife, Penny of Robinson and numerous nieces and nephews.
