Florence Rubinsky Fetter

Florence Rubinsky Fetter December 27, 1919 –February 14, 2010 Florence Rubinsky Fetter passed away Sunday, February 14, 2010, at the age of 90. Graveside service will be 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, Feb. 17, at Rodef Shalom Cemetery. Visitation will be 10:00-10:30 a.m., at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Funeral Home in Waco, TX. Florence, daughter of Morris Rubinsky and Ester Levy of Waco, was born on December 27, 1919. She was raised in Waco and was a graduate of Waco High School. She lived in Dallas since 1999. Florence loved playing cards and talking with her friends and family from Waco; but most of all, she loved visiting with her grandchildren and great grandchildren and got so much joy from their visits. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother and great grandmother, and was a loving wife as well. She was a lifelong member of Temple Rodef Shalom. She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, James Milton Fetter; and daughters, Annette Brown and Lana Thompson. She is survived by her son, Stuart and wife, Janice, of Mt. Pleasant, SC; grandchildren, Dr. Marshall Brown and wife, Sherry, of Ft. Worth; Allison Madison and husband, Randy; Evan Fetter and wife, Rachel; and Melissa Ridzinski and husband, Adam, all of Dallas; Lauren and husband, Brian, of Macalister, Oklahoma; and step-granddaughter, Dr. Cindy Carter of Charleston, SC. Also surviving are her great grandchildren: Blake and Carson Brown, Ryan and Sam Madison, Bradley, Max and Lindsey Fetter, Mia and Asher Ridzinski, and Kaitlyn and Karsen Wilson. In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to Temple Rodef Shalom in memory of Florence.
