Frances Aline Kennedy

KENNEDY, FRANCES Frances Aline Kennedy, 93 of Waco, passed away Sunday, January 9, 2005 at a local nursing home. Graveside services will be held at 1:30pm Wednesday, January 12 at Waco Memorial North. Visitation with the family will be from 6-8pm Tuesday, January 11 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey. Mrs. Kennedy was born October 8, 1911 to Nick and Allie Shaw in Paris, Texas. Frances is preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Marion Bud Kennedy and son, William Richard Kennedy. She is survived by daughter, Ethel Kay McCormack and husband, Thomas of Waco; sons, Michael Ray Kennedy and wife, Billie of Lawton, Oklahoma and Roger Ryan Kennedy and wife, Rene of Yantis, Texas; daughter-in-law, Lovena Kennedy of Hurst; sister, Alva Jo Thomas of Dallas; seven grandchildren; five great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. The Kennedy family would like to give a special “thank you” to the nursing home family and to Scott and White hospice. In lieu of flowers, the family requested memorials may be made to charity of choice. God saw you were getting tired and a cure was not to be, so He put His arms around you and whispered, “Come with Me” With tearful eyes we watched you and saw you pass away. Although we loved you dearly, we could not make you stay. A golden heart stopped beat- ing, hard working hands at rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us, He only takes the best.
