Frances E. Blasingame December 23, 1919 - February 25, 2009 Frances E. Blasingame of China Spring passed away Wednesday, February 25, 2009. Graveside services will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, February 28, at Oakwood Cemetery with Rev. Curtis Holland officiating. Frances was born December 23, 1919, in China Spring, Texas, to Lynn and Lucille Kennedy. She graduated from Waco High School and from Baylor University. She taught school at Cransfills Gap and worked at VA Regional Hospital until retirement in 1976. Frances was a member of China Spring United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 37 years, J.D. Blasingame, the love of her life. She is survived by her cousins, Becky and Floyd Dekele, Kay Elliott, Sue Smith and Susan Pardo. Also she is survived by the children she loved and adored, Carson and Vala Jenkins and their parents, Bryan and Kathrina Jenkins; and Kenneth and Mary Jo Moore. Honorary pallbearers are Floyd Dekele, Fred Ables, Don Stiers, Bryan Jenkins, Carson Jenkins, Manuel Martinez and Kenneth Moore.
