Frances Fran Springer

SPRINGER, FRANCES Frances “Fran” Springer, 63 of China Spring, died Thursday, December 2, 2004. Services will be at 11:30am Monday, December 6 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel with the Rev. A. L. Jackson officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 3-5pm Sunday, December 5 at the funeral home Garden Room. Mrs. Springer was born April 23, 1941 in Waco to Paul and Minnie McGinty. She had been a resident of the Waco area all of her life. She formerly owned and operated Fran’s Coffee Shop on LaSalle. She was a member of VFW Auxiliary. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and always put the needs of her family and others before herself. She was preceded in death by her mother, Minnie LaGrange, stepfather, Cecil LaGrange and husband, Sam A. Coone. Survivors include husband, Herbert L. Springer of China Spring; father, Paul McGinty of Waco; daughters, Rhonda Coone-Wiley and husband, David of Waco, Lavon C. Stoneburge and husband, Keith of Idaho Falls, Idaho, and Judy Coone of Tucson, Arizona; sons, Gilbert Harty and wife, Debbie of Port Aransas, Kenneth Coone of Dallas, and Sammy Coone of Hallsburg; thirteen grandchildren; and five great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be LaRoc Cockrell, David Wiley, Arley Harris, Dee Whitehead, Dorsey Jester, and Duce Springer. Memorials may be made to Fuzzy Friends.
