Frances Marie Holdbrook February 2, 1926 - November 28, 2015 Frances Marie Holdbrook of Lorena passed away Saturday, November 28, 2015 at St. Catherine Place. Services will be at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, December 1, at First Baptist Church of Hewitt with the Rev. Roy Marshall officiating. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Monday, November 30, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey. Frances was born February 2, 1926, in Waco, Texas, to Woodfin and Annie Nunn. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Hewitt. Frances grew up on Bell’s Hill and was a graduate of Waco High. She married the love of her life, James Holdbrook, in 1944; they were married 71 years in September. She loved the family trips camping in Colorado and deer hunting in Evant. She loved her family and we were blessed to call her momma. …O’ Holy Night, the stars are brightly shining.” She was preceded in death by her parents; two grandsons, Terry and Stephen Fair; four sisters and one brother. She is survived by her husband, James Leslie Holdbrook, Sr., four daughters, Jackie Ivie and husband, Sammie, Barba Muse and husband, Jack, Jeanie Moss and husband, Dwain, and Gayle Terry and husband, George; one son, James Holdbrook, Jr and wife, Mindy; grandchildren, Amy Eubank, Brian Fair, Melissa Brown, Kevin and Greg Moss, Tanya Puig, Angie Woodard, Jaymie Pogue and Bubba Holdbrook; fourteen great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
