FRANCES LUCILLE WEBB RHEA Frances Lucille Webb Rhea of Waco died April 11, 2003 at Regent Care Center-Oakwell Farms in San Antonio, Texas. Graveside services will be Monday, April 14 at 10:00 a.m. at Oakwood Cemetery with Rev. Michael O. Patterson officiating. Mrs. Rhea was the seventeenth of 18 children born to Clementine Boatright and Marion James Webb on September 25, 1911 in Downsville, Texas. As a wife and mother, she attended nursing school at Kings Daughter Hospital in Temple, Texas, where she earned her Licensed Vocational Nursing Certificate with which she practiced until her retirement at age 75. She loved to go dancing and relished cooking for family and friends. She was the chief cook for family holiday gatherings for many years. Her life was spent mothering and nursing. She loved our dogs and everything about all of us. Thank you, Mom. Thank you. Western Heights Baptist Church served as her church base in Waco. Survivors include a son, Jim Rhea and wife Betty of Arlington; daughters, Nancy Jean Rhea Oldham and husband Lacy of San Angelo, Sari Jane Rhea Newell and husband Paul of San Antonio and Martha Webb Rhea Bunn and husband Simon Milford, Jr. of Waco; grandchildren, Mitzi Oldham Riddle and husband Bill of San Angelo, Dawn Copeland Bryan and husband Eric of San Antonio, Suzanne Bunn Labeille and husband Olivier of Rennes, France, Shannon Bunn Young of Waco, Brad Kennedy and wife Kim of Carrollton and Shelly Kennedy Yakley and husband Eric of Brooklyn, New York; great grandchildren, Olivia, Charlotte and Andrew Young, Connor Bryan, Remi Labeille, Megan Kennedy and Emma Yakley; sister, Edna Everett of Houston, the only surviving sibling; sister-in-law, Ruby Webb of Waco; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family wishes to thank all caregivers and friends at Regent Care for their loving care of Mother and support to our family.
