Frankie Hodge Lewis

LEWIS, FRANKIE L. Frankie L. Lewis, 82, of Waco, formerly of Wichita Falls, passed away Wednesday, October 9, 2002 at a local nursing home. Services will be held at 10am Friday, October 11 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Garden Room, 6101 Bosque Blvd. with Dr. Nathan Stone officiating. Graveside services will follow at 4pm Friday at Crestview Memorial Park in Wichita Falls. Frankie was born March 24, 1920 to Marvin and Willie Hodge. She was a long time resident of Wichita Falls and worked as a beautician, winning the American Hair Stylist “Texas State Trophy” in 1950. Her husband, Gordon Lewis preceded her in death. Survivors include brother, A.E. Kan Hodge of Costa Rica, stepsons, Richard Ware of Waco and David Ware of Clover, South Carolina, grandchildren, Michael Ware, Shannon Ware, Jason Ware, Alex Ware and Ann Hayes, great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, caregivers and special friends, nurses at Quality Care and Nathan and Pat Stone.
