Fred Leon Horn September 16, 1921 - June 17, 2011 Fred Leon Horn of Waco went to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, June 17, 2011. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 22, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel with Pastor Bryan Dunks officiating. Burial will follow at Dawson Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 21, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Garden Room. Fred was born September 16, 1921, in Hubbard, Texas, to Fred and Minnie Horn. He worked at Bird Kultgen Ford for 38 years as Service Manager. He was a wonderful dad, who loved his family very much. He loved camping and the mountains of Colorado. He was a member of Lake Shore United Methodist Church in Waco. He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Minnie Horn; wife, Louella Chapman Horn; son, Fred Allen Horn; and step-mother, Marian Horn. He is survived by his wife, Louise Horn of Waco; three daughters, Fredna Powers and husband, Bobby, of Kingsland, TX; Janice Lampert and husband, Harry, of Fruitvale, TX; and Marilyn Griesse-Atwood and husband, Barry, of Waco; two sons, Floyd Horn and wife, Shirley, of Waco, and Boyd Horn and wife, Wendy, of Georgetown, TX; one step-daughter, Dianne Keen and husband, Taylor, of Waco; two step-sons, Roger and Bill Craig; thirteen grandchildren, Jay Powers and wife, Donna, Stephanie Endom and husband, Dan, David Lampert and wife, Nancy, Kevin Lampert and wife, Heather, Kimberly Angerman and husband, David, Catherine Bothof and husband, Jeff, Sarah Griesse, Megan Ket and husband, Wes, Troy Horn and wife, Cody, Dustin Horn and wife, Joslyn, Sherri Booth and husband, Frank, Mark Horn and wife, Valerie, and Matthew Horn; eighteen great-grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; and four step-great-grandchildren.
