Gary Faunce April 10, 1948 – January 6, 2016 Gary Faunce of Laguna Park, Texas, passed away on Jan. 6, 2016, at his sister’s home in Florida. Memorial Services will be 5:00 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 9, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel. A reception will follow at The Flyin’ F Ranch in Laguna Park. Gary was born April 10, 1948, in Morgantown, West Virginia. He spent his entire career as a CPA and worked at Midway ISD as Assistant Superintendent of Finance from 1996 to 2010. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Lola Faunce; two sisters, Karen and Melanie Faunce; brother-in-law, Angel Garcia; and niece, Kimberly Busa. He is survived by one son, Jeffrey Faunce and wife, Jennifer of Greenville, Texas; one step-son, Brian Davis and wife, Trissi of Rowlett, Texas; one daughter, Jennifer Garretson and husband, Stephen of Haslet, Texas; four grandchildren, Brendan, Ethan and Ryan Garretson, and Jacob Faunce; two step-grandchildren, Chas and Chandler Davis; his three sisters, Judy Garcia of Lake Worth, Florida, Jerilyn Bandiera and husband, Joe, of Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina, Joe, and Debi Scott and husband, Art of Whitehouse, Texas; and one brother, Sonny Faunce and wife, Juanita of Strasburg, Virginia. Memorials may be made to the Midway I.S.D.
