Geary L. Ward Geary L. Ward, 57, of Waco, went to be with his Lord Monday, Aug. 27, 2001, at a local hospital. Memorial services will be at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 30, at Wilkirson- Hatch-Bailey Chapel, 6101 Bosque Blvd. with the Rev. Don Ziriax officiating. Mr. Ward was born Aug. 29, 1943, in Brady, son of the late Richard and Idella Willey Ward. He served as an E-5 Sgt. in Vietnam. He worked as a computer technician for 33 yrs., and most recently for Smartech. Survivors include his wife of 23 years, Kathryn Ward; daughter, Timala Le of Gilbert, AZ, sons, Robert Ward of Coweta, OK, and Jason Ward of Ft. Worth; sisters, Betty Craw- ford and Kitty Baucom, both of San Angelo, Bernay Lankford of Richmond, Jo Shank of Globe, AZ, and Jane Huff of Abilene; brothers, Edwin Ward of Loving- ton, NM, Dee Ward of Ft.Worth, and Eldon Ward of Brady; grand- children, Tara Kamph, Charles Ward, Zachary Kamph, Lauren Le, Kylee Ward, Tabetha Le, and Trinity Le. For those desiring, Geary asked memorials be given to The American Cancer Society or Providence Hospice in lieu of flowers. Dr. Ofobuike Okani, you led Geary to the Lord in April and discipled Him daily the remainder of his hosp. stay. For that we will be forever grateful to you and your wonderful staff in the care given him. Geary was a much loved husband, father, grandfather, brother, friend, and co-worker.
