George R. Wells December 9, 1931 - July 20, 2006 George Wells of McGregor passed away Thursday, July 20, 2006. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 26 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Bosque Chapel. Burial will at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday at Oak Hill Cemetery in Cameron, TX. George was born December 9, 1931 in Hartford, CT to George Raymond Wells and Elsie Schneider Wells. He served his country in the US Army while being stationed in Germany during the Korean War. George was a member of St. Jerome Catholic Church in Waco. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and one nephew. He is survived by his sister, Virginia Wells Watson and husband, Colonel Douglas Watson, Ret. of McGregor and one niece, Patricia Gail Watson. Memorial donations may be made to Providence Hospice.
