George Washington Griffin, Jr.

GEORGE GRIFFIN, JR. George Washington Griffin, Jr., 65, of Waco, died Saturday, January 19, 2002 at a local hospital. Graveside services will be 2:00PM Tuesday, January 22 at Oakwood Cemetery with Curtis Holland officiating. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00pm Monday at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey funeral home, 6101 Bosque Blvd. Mr. Griffin was a Retired Air Force Master Sergeant and retired from the V.A. Hospital in Waco. He was a member of the VFW Post 6008 in Hewitt. He was a very hard worker who was loved by everyone, and he will be missed by all. He is preceded in death by his wife Helen Griffin and son Larry Griffin. Survivors include a former wife Donna Griffin Schultz of Tennessee, daughter Kim Farris of Missouri, sons George Griffin and wife Beth of Florida, David Griffin and wife Kathy of Arkansas and Mike Griffin of California, two sisters, three brothers, 15 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
