Georgette Tannous Mrs. Georgette Tannous, of Waco, TX, passed away on October 15, 2005 @ St Catherine’s Center. Rosary prayers will be held on Wednesday, 10/19/2005 from 7-9 pm @ Wilkinson-Hatch-Bailey Funeral Home, 6101 Bosque Boulevard in Waco. Services for Mrs Tannous will be held at the same location on Thursday, October 20, @ 3:30 pm. The funeral will be held at Oakwood Cemetery. A memorial dinner will immediately follow the funeral at the Summer Palace Restaurant at 1520 N Valley Mills Drive in Waco. Born in Lebanon in 1925, Georgette Nehme moved to Egypt at a young age. Married in 1953 to her Journalist husband Napoleon. Georgette settled in Lebanon in 1961. She moved to Waco in 1987. Georgette is survived by her husband of 52 years, Napoleon, her sister and brother-in-law, Drs Marie and Pierre Saad, her son Majdi and his daughters, Samantha, Amy, Stefanie and Alexandria, her son Hani along with his wife Shireen, and their son Jonathan, her daughter Maha and Maha’s husband Gus. Also surviving Georgette are her nephew, Dr Wadeeh Saad and his family and her niece Dr Randa Saad and her family as well as many cousins and other family members throughout the world.
