Gerri “Ralph” Kolter, 82, passed away Tuesday, May 16, 2017, in Richardson, Texas. Services will be 3:30 p.m., Friday, May 19, at Waco Memorial Park Mausoleum with Father Payden "Red" Blevins officiating. Gerri was born October 30, 1934, in Red Creek, West Virginia. She was the oldest of 13 children. After graduating college with a degree in nursing, she worked as a nurse for a number of years. She retired from Chrysler Technologies in Waco, where she worked as a Purchasing Agent. She married James H. Kolter in 1955 in Akron, Ohio, and was married for 45 years until his passing in December of 2000. She loved collecting ceramic frogs and enjoyed reading. Gerri was preceded in death by her husband. She is survived by her sons, Howard Kolter and wife, Sarah, of Parker, Texas, and Jeff Kolter and wife, Angela, of Wylie, Texas; and grandsons, Robert Jordan and Matthew Kolter.
