GERALDINE SANDERS DYER March 19, 1919 June 18, 2009 Geraldine Dyer, 90, of Waco passed away Thursday, June 18, 2009. Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, June 21, at Prairie Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Fred Sain officiating. Burial will follow at Prairie Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Saturday, June 20, 2009 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Garden Room. Geraldine was born March 19, 1919 in Coolidge, Texas to Joe H. Sanders and Anna R. Sanders. She married Bill Dyer of Prairie Hill on November 9, 1937 and was blessed with 67 years of marriage. She dearly loved her daughter, son in law, three grandchildren, and six great grandchildren. Geraldine crafted beautiful, handmade quilts and was a talented cake decorator. She lovingly made specialty cakes for three generations of family members to celebrate birthdays. Geraldine was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Dyer, in 2005 and daughter, Rita Joy Adams, in 2007. She is survived by her devoted son- in- law, Ralph Adams; grandchildren, Karen Miller and husband, Calvin; Darrell Adams and wife, Pam; Elaine Powell and husband, Doug; and six great grandchildren, Andrew and Evan Miller, Morgan and Mason Adams, Aaron and Sarah Powell. Pallbearers are Calvin Miller, Doug Powell, Andrew Miller, Evan Miller, Aaron Kirk Powell and Mason Adams. Memorial may be made to the charity of your choice.
