Geraldo M. Guardiola

Geraldo “Jerry” Guardiola passed away Wednesday, February 9, 2022. The Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, February 15, at St. Francis on the Brazos Catholic Church with Father Jose Jazo officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will start at 6:00 p.m., Monday, February 14, followed by the Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Funeral Home. Geraldo was born October 28, 1931, in Rosebud, Texas, to Julio and Andrea Guardiola. Geraldo and Victoria were married for 55 wonderful years. He was a carpenter and enjoyed building. He also enjoyed his pets JJ, Bud, and Chapo. He was a loving husband, father, uncle, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; his great granddaughter Lilianna; five sisters; and two brothers. He is survived by his sons, Samuel Guardiola and wife, Yvette, and John Joe Guardiola; daughter, Andrea Guardiola Morua and husband, Jeffery; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Gerald Ray Guardiola, Sammy Guardiola, Joshua Jimenez, Jeffery Morua Jr, Daniel Guardiola, and Alex Flores. Honorary pallbearers will be Julieann Morua, Jessica Morua, Janna Guardiola, Valarie Guardiola, and Elena Guardiola.
