BROCK, GERRIE Gerrie Brock, beloved wife The Hen, mother, mothergran and friend, age 77, of Lorena passed away Wednesday, November 19, 2003 at a local nursing facility. Services will be held at 1:30pm Friday, November 21 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel with Chaplain Curtis Holland officiating. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial North. Mrs. Brock was born in Houston and moved to Waco in 1930. She attended Waco schools and also Texas Women’s University in Denton. She married Charles Brock in 1946 and they were married for 57 years. She and her husband owned and operated Brock’s Janitorial Service for 51 years. She also worked as a displayer for Home Interiors for 30 years. She was a lifetime member and past queen of Daughters of the Nile and past worthy matron of Eastern Star. The family wants to thank her for her unwavering love and support throughout their lives. She will be dearly loved and missed everyday. Survivors include husband, Chuck Brock, daughters, Chris Brock, Connie Mejia, Char Pardue and husband, Bobby, and Cara Killingsworth and husband, Russell, and six grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Pete Mejia, Bobby Pardue, Russell Killingsworth, Mike Kasper, Craig Hebbe, and Steve Graeter.
